About Xytram-S Tablet

Xytram-S Tablet belongs to the class of medications called ‘analgesics,’ primarily used to treat moderate to severe pain. It can relieve pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, such as dental pain, cervical pain, chronic low back pain, arthritis pain (joint pain), post-operative pain, and sports injury. Pain is an unpleasant feeling occurring due to injury or tissue damage. It can be temporary (acute), caused by damage to tissues, or long-lasting (chronic), caused by pathologies like nerve damage, osteoarthritis, or other conditions.

Xytram-S Tablet is a combination medicine containing three active ingredients: Tramadol, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) that blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain, reducing pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic that blocks the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing pain. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that works as an anti-inflammatory by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation and promoting healing. Together, Xytram-S Tablet helps relieve pain.

Your doctor will recommend the dose and duration of Xytram-S Tablet based on your medical condition and the severity of the pain. In some cases, Xytram-S Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, headache, and dry mouth.
