Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML does not work against infections caused by a virus.
ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML contains Ofloxacin that works by interfering with bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML kills bacteria and clears the infection.
ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction: ZANOCIN 200MG I.V INJECTION 100ML may interact with an anticancer drug (methotrexate), antiarrhythmics (hydroquinone, disopyramide, quinidine, sotalol, amiodarone, ibutilide, dofetilide, digoxin, procainamide), some antimicrobials, tricyclic antidepressants, some antipsychotics, blood thinner (warfarin), water pills (furosemide), anesthetics, medicines used to lower blood pressure, antidiabetic drug (glibenclamide), gout medicine (probenecid), stomach acid reducer (cimetidine), other antibiotics (clarithromycin, erythromycin, azithromycin), corticosteroids, antidepressants (imipramine, amitriptyline, clomipramine), anti-asthma drug(theophylline) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (fenbufen, indomethacin, diclofenac, ibuprofen).
