About Zerocef-AZ Tablet

Zerocef-AZ Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, urinary tract, and throat. It may also be used to treat pneumonia, strep throat, traveller’s diarrhoea, typhoid, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Zerocef-AZ Tablet contains Azithromycin and Cefixime. Azithromycin prevents protein synthesis, whereas Cefixime prevents the formation of bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Together, Zerocef-AZ Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections.
