Zestonac Gel 30 gm belongs to the class of medications called 'Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID)' used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, sprain, arthritis, and low back pain. Musculoskeletal pain can be caused by arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, dislocations, bone structure problems, or injury. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease that causes the two ends of the joints to rub together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.

Zestonac Gel 30 gm is a combination of four medications: diclofenac, methyl salicylate, benzyl alcohol, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate are pain relievers that work by inhibiting the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which produce another chemical called prostaglandin (PG). Thus, provide relief from mild to moderate pain and inflammation. Menthol and benzyl alcohol are soothing and cooling agents that provide a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also improves drug penetration. Together, Zestonac Gel 30 gm aids in relieving mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Zestonac Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Apply a pea-sized amount to the affected areas with your fingers. Depending on your medical condition, you should use Zestonac Gel 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you.
