In the third month of pregnancy Ayurveda advises the mother to have food in the form of porridge, milk is advised as the previous month and also here addition of Honey is been advised. Honey is been advised to be added more frequently in the diet, in whatever form. But while using honey, one thing that has to be always kept in mind is; honey should never be added for cooking or while cooking or should never be added to a hot food. So it should be added when the food is self cooled and then can be consumed, because adding honey to hot substance is not good for the mother and the child. So this is the special advice that has been given for the third month of pregnancy other than what is already advised in the first and second month.
