Cobatus Tablet belongs to the class of 'vitamins', primarily used to treat vitamin b12 deficiency and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet). It is also used to prevent/treat megaloblastic anaemia (anaemia with unusually large red blood cells). Vitamin B12 deficiency occurs when the body has lower levels of vitamin B12 than normal. Symptoms include fatigue, breathlessness, numbness, poor balance, and memory trouble.

Cobatus Tablet contains Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12 that regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It also helps restore nucleic acid in the nerve cells.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Cobatus Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, and headache. Treatment of Vitamin B12 deficiency and peripheral neuropathy
Tablet/capsule: Swallow tablet/capsule as a whole with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food at regular intervals, as recommended by the doctor. Do not crush, chew or break it. Chewable tablet: Chew the tablet thoroughly and then swallow. Do not swallow it as a whole.Liquid: Measure the liquid form with a measuring cup or dosing syringe and take it as advised by the doctor.Disintegrating strip: Place the strip on the top of your tongue and allow it to disintegrate. Swallow the dissolved medicine. Do not swallow as a whole or chew the strip. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands. Disintegrating tablet: Check the label for directions before use. Disperse the tablet in the recommended amount of water and swallow the contents. Do not crush, chew or swallow as a whole.Granules: Check the label for directions before use. Take it as advised by your doctor.Oral Lozenges: Place the lozenge in your mouth between your gums and cheek until it is dissolved. Do not chew or swallow it as a whole.
