Dic Plus Gel contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, linseed oil, and menthol. Dic Plus Gel works by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, which interferes with the pain signal transmission through nerves.

Some common side effects of Dic Plus Gel are burning, itching, redness, stinging, and dryness on your skin in the place where Dic Plus Gel is applied. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Dic Plus Gel should be used for skin only, and if it accidentally gets into your eye, mouth, or nose, rinse with water. Dic Plus Gel is contraindicated in children below two years of age. In addition, caution must be exercised when treating older children (2-12 years).

  • Dic Plus Gel is for topical (skin surface) use only.
  • It is typically applied 3-4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water before applying Dic Plus Gel. Apply a small amount of Dic Plus Gel to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab and gently rub it in.
  • Avoid taking a shower for at least 1 hour after application.
  • If Dic Plus Gel accidentally comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse with water thoroughly.
  • Do not apply it to open wounds, or use external heat or occlusive dressings on the treated joints.
