Diclobenz Gel is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Diclobenz Gel contains diclofenac sodium, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, menthol, and cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride. Diclofenac sodium and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride acts on the brain and nervous system to relax the muscles. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Diclobenz Gel helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Directions for Use

Gel/Cream/Ointment: Diclobenz Gel is only for external use. Take a small amount of Diclobenz Gel on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact of the Diclobenz Gel with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Diclobenz Gel if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection. Spray: It is only for external use. Check the label for directions before using the spray. Shake well before each use. Spray the contents from a 5cm distance on the affected area.

  • Avoid freezing and hot temperatures.

  • Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes, instead, wear loose garments.

  • Rest well, get plenty of sleep.

  • To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position at least every two hours.
