Dolonex Gel 15 gm

Dolonex Gel is used to treat pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal disorders, including tenosynovitis, tendinitis, periarthritis, strains, sprains, and low back pain.

Dolonex Gel contains 'Piroxicam', which works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger in the body called prostaglandins.

In some cases, Dolonex Gel may cause common side effects such as mild skin irritation, redness, and itching. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to speak to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use Dolonex Gel if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Dolonex Gel is not recommended for use in children.

Dolonex Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation. The detailed uses of Dolonex Gel are as follows:

• Pain Relief in Musculoskeletal Condition: Dolonex Gel is used to relieve pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, strains and sprains.
• Relief from Soft Tissue Injuries: Dolonex Gel is effective for treating soft-tissue injuries such as muscle strains and ligament sprains.
• Management of Inflammatory Conditions: Dolonex Gel can be used to treat various inflammatory conditions affecting joints, muscles, and tendons, such as tendinitis or tenosynovitis.
• Post-Operative Pain Relief: Dolonex Gel may be used to relieve localised pain, reduce inflammation, and improve post-operative recovery after musculoskeletal surgical procedures.

• Use Dolonex Gel as advised by your doctor.
• Rub gel into the affected area until it disappears completely.
• Do not apply Dolonex Gel on damaged skin, such as wounds, dermatitis or infections.
• Do not apply Dolonex Gel near nose, eyes, mouth, genital or anal (bottom) areas. If the gel comes into contact with these areas, rinse away with water.
• Do not cover the treated area with dressings or bandages.
• For external use only.

• Dolonex Gel works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called prostaglandins.
• Prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling.
• By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.

• Do not use Dolonex Gel if you are allergic to any of its contents, if you are hypersensitive to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
• Inform your doctor if you have/had peptic ulcers, heart surgery, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, asthma, eczema, fluid retention, inflammatory bowel disease, or kidney or liver problems.
• Consult a doctor before using Dolonex Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Dolonex Gel is not recommended for children. Inform your doctor if you are taking any NSAIDs/or painkillers orally.
• Dolonex Gel may cause Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis.
• Stop using Dolonex Gel and consult your doctor immediately if you develop rashes, blisters, skin peeling, flu-like symptoms, or ulcers in the mouth, nose, throat, connective tissue of the eye, or reproductive organs.
