Encephabol 100 mg Tablet belongs to the class of nootropics. It is indicated as an adjunct therapy in the treatment of a wide variety of disorders of the brain, such as Cerebrovascular disorders and mental function disorders. Cerebrovascular disease is a collection of disorders that affect blood flow and blood arteries in the brain. A mental disorder is characterized by a clinically significant disturbance in an individual's cognition, emotional regulation, or behaviour. It is also used in the treatment of vegetative dysfunction in children and adolescents.

Encephabol 100 mg Tablet contains Pyritinol. It controls the signalling pathways of several neurotransmitters, such as N-methyl-d-aspartate, γ-aminobutyric acid, and acetylcholine. On the other side, it has also been proven that pyritinol lowers plasma viscosity and functions as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

You are advised to take Encephabol 100 mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as epigastric distress (pain or discomfort below your ribs), anorexia (an eating disorder), nausea, vomiting, restlessness, headache, insomnia (a common sleep disorder) and rash.
