About Ferisis Liquid
Ferisis Liquid is used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various tissues throughout the body.
Ferisis Liquid is a combination of two drugs: Ferrous ascorbate and folic acid. Ferisis Liquid works by increasing the production of red blood cells (RBCs) and haemoglobin (a protein) in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs is produced in the body so that each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.
Not everyone who is taking Ferisis Liquid will get these side effects. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark coloured stool.
