About Fetor Suspension

Fetor Suspension is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies such as iron deficiency, anaemia, and folic acid deficiency. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body fails to absorb or obtain sufficient nutrients from food.

Fetor Suspension contains Elemental Iron, Folic acid, and Cyanocobalamin. Iron helps transport oxygen throughout the body and produces red blood cells. Folic acid is necessary for various bodily functions. Cyanocobalamin is essential for growth, cell production, protein and tissue synthesis.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as stomach upset, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Fetor Suspension if you're allergic to any of its ingredients. Consult your doctor before taking Fetor Suspension if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Fetor Suspension should be given to children only in doses recommended by a doctor.

FAQs

Fetor Suspension belongs to a class of 'nutritional supplements,' primarily used to treat iron deficiency anaemia and nutritional deficiencies.

Fetor Suspension is a nutritional supplement that consists of Elemental Iron, Folic acid, and Cyanocobalamin. It works by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body. It also helps normalise the low vitamin levels in the body, thus treating nutritional deficiencies and iron deficiency anaemia.

It is recommended not to take Fetor Suspension along with tea, coffee, milk, and eggs since they might interfere with iron absorption from Fetor Suspension .

Fetor Suspension is best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. However, in some patients, Fetor Suspension may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, such as stomach upset or constipation, when taken without food. Therefore, please follow your doctor's advice if you experience stomach problems.

Antacids may interfere with the absorption of iron. Hence, it is advised to take Fetor Suspension two hours before or four hours after taking antacids.

Fetor Suspension may cause constipation as a side effect. Eating fibre-rich foods, such as vegetables, fresh fruits, and cereals, and drinking plenty of water can help relieve symptoms.
