About Jaspix 250 Suspension

Jaspix 250 Suspension is used in relieving pain and fever. Pain can be acute (temporary) or chronic (long-lasting). Fever is a high body temperature followed by shivering, headache, and, in severe cases, delirium.

Jaspix 250 Suspension contains Paracetamol, which works by blocking the production of a chemical messenger (prostaglandin) and encouraging heat loss (through sweating), which helps reset the hypothalamus thermostat.

Jaspix 250 Suspension may cause side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea or diarrhoea. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician.

Jaspix 250 Suspension is intended for pediatric use only. Avoid giving Jaspix 250 Suspension to your child if she/he is allergic to it. Keep your doctor informed about your child’s health condition, medications, and medical history to rule out any side effects/interactions.

What if I have taken an overdose of Jaspix 250 Suspension

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Jaspix 250 Suspension may include a reduction in urine, a build-up of acid in the blood, confusion, depression, disorientation, kidney failure, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), nausea, and jaundice. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
