Magstone B6 Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of renal tubular acidosis and kidney stones. It also helps provide relief from a burning sensation during urination. Kidney stones are small, hard deposits made up of calcium, phosphate, and other minerals/acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine. Renal tubular acidosis is a condition in which the kidneys fail to excrete acids into the urine, this causes the blood to remain too acidic.
 
Magstone B6 Oral Solution is a combination of two drugs, namely: Potassium magnesium citrate and Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). Magstone B6 Oral Solution raises the urinary pH, potassium, magnesium, and citric acid levels; this prevents the crystallization, growth, and accumulation of stone-forming salts. Thereby, Magstone B6 Oral Solution helps treat renal tubular acidosis and kidney stones.
 
Take Magstone B6 Oral Solution as advised by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. • Magstone B6 Oral Solution can be taken after a meal or as advised by your doctor.• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.• Measure the suggested dose using a measuring cup and administer it orally.• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly. Shake well before use.

Magstone B6 Oral Solution contains Potassium magnesium citrate and Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). Magstone B6 Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of renal tubular acidosis, and kidney stones to prevent the recurrence of calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis (calcium oxalate stones) and uric acid lithiasis (uric acid stones) with or without calcium stones. It also helps provide relief from burning sensation during urination. What if I have taken an overdose of Magstone B6 Oral Solution

Avoid exceeding the recommended dose as it might cause an overdose. Seek medical attention if you experience any unusual symptoms.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Magstone B6 Oral Solution if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have hyperkalaemia (high levels of potassium), chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, adrenal insufficiency, acute dehydration, oesophageal compression, delayed gastric emptying, intestinal obstruction, peptic ulcers, urinary tract infection, or renal insufficiency. Inform your doctor if you have hyperkalaemia or gastrointestinal lesions. If you experience severe vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding or abdominal pain, stop taking Magstone B6 Oral Solution and consult a doctor immediately. Magstone B6 Oral Solution is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Consult your doctor before taking Magstone B6 Oral Solution if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Taking Magstone B6 Oral Solution 200 ml with Eltrombopag can make it less effective by reducing its absorption and lowering its concentration in the blood.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Magstone B6 Oral Solution 200 ml with Eltrombopag is not recommended as it can result in an interaction. It can be taken if your doctor has advised it. You should take eltrombopag on an empty stomach at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after Magstone B6 Oral Solution 200 ml. Do not discontinue any medication without consulting a doctor.
