Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray

Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray is primarily used to treat nasal congestion (stuffy nose) caused by hay fever (allergic rhinitis), common colds, flu, sinusitis, or other allergic conditions. Nasal congestion, also known as a stuffy nose, occurs when the nasal passages become swollen with excess mucus and fluid.

Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray contains Oxymetazoline, a nasal decongestant that works by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels in the linings of the nasal passages.

The common side effects are irritation or dryness of the nasal mucosa (tissue lining the nasal cavity), local burning sensation, headache, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist,inform your doctor immediately.

Use Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Do not use more than the recommended dose of Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray. Do not use any other medications or supplements with Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray unless prescribed by the doctor. You are recommended to remove nasal fluids before applying Medinoze 0.05% Nasal Spray by blowing the child's nose. • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Tilt your head back, hold the dropper over the nose, and instil the prescribed number of drops into each nostril. Bend your head slightly forward and move it gently left and right.
• Avoid sneezing or blowing your nose for at least a few minutes after using the drops.
• Not to be used for more than 10 consecutive days.
