Myofenac Pro 30ml

Myofenac Pro belongs to a class of NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) primarily used to relieve joint pain due to arthritis. Arthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage. Arthritis is the swelling and tenderness (pain on touching) of one or more joints characterized by joint pain and stiffness, which typically worsen with age.

Myofenac Pro contains Diclofenac sodium, Methyl salicylate and Menthol. Diclofenac sodium and Methyl salicylate work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain, responsible for causing pain and symptoms of inflammation. Menthol works initially by cooling the skin, followed by warming it up. This action helps in improving blood circulation and provides relief from pain.

Myofenac Pro is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Like all medicines, Myofenac Pro can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. You might experience side effects such as burning or stinging sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Myofenac Pro do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not use Myofenac Pro if you are allergic to any of the contents. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using Myofenac Pro. Avoid contact of Myofenac Pro with eyes, nose, and mouth. If contact occurs, wash with water immediately. Do not use Myofenac Pro if you have had any recent heart surgery as Myofenac Pro can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke. Myofenac Pro may increase the chances of stomach ulcers and bleeding. 

Myofenac Pro is used in the treatment of Pain and inflammation. The detailed uses of Myofenac Pro are as follows:

• Relieve joint and muscle pain: Myofenac Pro is primarily used to treat pain and inflammation associated with conditions like arthritis, sprains, strains, backache, and sports injuries. It helps reduce swelling, stiffness, and discomfort in affected areas.
• Suppress inflammation and improve mobility: Myofenac Pro contains Diclofenac Sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that blocks pain-inducing chemical messengers, helping reduce redness and swelling.
• Provide cooling and soothing relief: Myofenac Pro includes Menthol and Methyl Salicylate, which act as counterirritants. They create a cooling sensation followed by warmth, distracting from pain and improving blood circulation.

• Myofenac Pro is usually applied 4 times a day. However, follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication for effective results.
• Apply Myofenac Pro to the affected area and rub gently until it gets absorbed.
• Wash your hands before and after using Myofenac Pro.
• Avoid wrapping, bandaging, or applying heat (heating pad) to the treated area.

If you have a severe allergy to painkillers or if you develop conditions like asthma, rhinitis, angioedema (swelling under the skin), or skin rashes, avoid using Myofenac Pro. Inform your doctor if you have stomach ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe heart failure, high blood pressure, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), sleeping disorder (sleep apnoea), liver or kidney disease. Consult your doctor before starting Myofenac Pro if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
