About Nasocobal Nasal Spray

Nasocobal Nasal Spray is used to treat or prevent vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 deficiency occurs when the body has lower levels of vitamin B12 than normal. Symptoms include fatigue, breathlessness, numbness, poor balance, and memory problems.

Nasocobal Nasal Spray contains Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, which helps to protect the nerves from damage and promotes blood cell production. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Nasocobal Nasal Spray must be taken as directed by the healthcare professional or as per leaflet information for maximum benefit. In some cases, Nasocobal Nasal Spray may cause headaches, nausea, runny nose, and infections (such as sore throat and the common cold). The majority of these side effects subside over time without the need for medical intervention. However, please see a doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

  • Treatment of dietary vitamin B12 deficiency: Nasocobal Nasal Spray is used as a supplement in people who have a low food intake, such as strict vegetarians.
  • Management of B12 malabsorption: Nasocobal Nasal Spray treats deficiencies caused by structural or functional damage to the stomach or intestines, such as Crohn's disease, HIV/AIDS, and gluten-induced enteropathy.
  • Support during insufficient B12 utilization: Nasocobal Nasal Spray used in patients receiving treatment with B12 antagonists (e.g., some chemotherapy drugs), which impair the vitamin's metabolism.
