About Nervup D3 Tablet

Nervup D3 Tablet is used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damage to sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feelings, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping.

Nervup D3 Tablet is a combination of alpha-lipoic acid, folic acid, methylcobalamin and pyridoxine. Methylcobalamin and pyridoxine help rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Folic acid helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Vitamin D3 helps in the absorption of calcium.

Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, headache, vomiting and heartburn. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Avoid taking Nervup D3 Tablet if you are allergic to any other drugs or other components present in it. Consult your doctor before using Nervup D3 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pyridoxine is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Folic acid helps in the production of red blood cells. Vitamin D3 helps in the absorption of calcium.

What if I have taken an overdose of Nervup D3 Tablet

Do not take more than the suggested dose of Nervup D3 Tablet as it may cause serious side effects. If you suspect you have taken overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

Drug Warnings

  • Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of Nervup D3 Tablet .
  • Notify your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food).
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Nervup D3 Tablet .
  • Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Hence, please avoid alcohol while using Nervup D3 Tablet .
  • Nervup D3 Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been established.
  • Exercise caution while using Nervup D3 Tablet with anti-tumour drugs, antibiotics, chemotherapy, anti-diabetic drugs, thyroid hormone and blood thinners.
    Inform your doctor if you are due to undergo any surgery.

  • Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver, kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
  • Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
  • Include the best dietary sources of vitamin D, such as fish liver oils and vitamin D–fortified milk.
  • Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.
  • Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
  • Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.
