About Nexonac Gel 30 gm

Nexonac Gel 30 gm belongs to the class of medications called topical analgesics primarily used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Nexonac Gel 30 gm contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Nexonac Gel 30 gm helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Nexonac Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Use Nexonac Gel 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. The majority of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, if you are experiencing these side effects regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Nexonac Gel 30 gm is a combination of four drugs: Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil possesses an anti-inflammatory action that inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Nexonac Gel 30 gm helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Directions for Use

Gel/Cream/Ointment: Nexonac Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Take a small amount of Nexonac Gel 30 gm on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact of the Nexonac Gel 30 gm with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Nexonac Gel 30 gm if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.Spray: It is only for external use. Check the label for directions before using the spray. Shake well before each use. Spray the contents from a 5cm distance on the affected area.
