The risk for hyponatremia is increased in elderly, paediatric patients, postoperative patients and patients who are taking drugs which may increase the risk of hyponatremia. Close clinical monitoring in such patients is advised.

Consult your doctor before taking corticosteroids or corticotropin as it may increase the risk of sodium fluid retention.

Peditral Sachet does not stop diarrhoea. It helps prevent and treat dehydration due to diarrhoea.
