About Raricap L Suspension
Raricap L Suspension is primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) and iron deficiency. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various body tissues.
Raricap L Suspension is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ferrous calcium citrate (iron supplement) and folic acid (vitamin B9). Raricap L Suspension works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body so that the body's tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.
Take Raricap L Suspension as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach pain or a change in the colour of the stool. Most of these side effects of Raricap L Suspension do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Raricap L Suspension or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Raricap L Suspension . Raricap L Suspension should be used with caution in children and only if advised by a doctor.
If you have a stomach ulcer, a vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or a folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking Raricap L Suspension .
