About REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION

REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION belongs to a class of medications called 'antiseptics’ primarily used to treat sore throat. It provides fast, soothing and effective relief from pain and discomfort associated with sore throats and cough. A sore throat is a painful, dry, or scratchy feeling in the throat that can occur with or without swallowing. Most sore throats are caused by infections such as a cold or flu, or by environmental factors like dry air.

REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION is a combination drug containing two medicines: Amylmetacresol and Benzyl alcohol primarily used to reduce pain and discomfort associated with sore throats and cough. Amylmetacresol works by killing the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections. It also works in the area of discomfort and helps lubricate and soothe the painful sore throat. Benzyl alcohol an antiseptic with local anaesthetic activity works against infectious bacteria. It gives a soothing and cooling effect on the sore throat.

REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION is available in lozenges form. Some people may experience a sore tongue. The side effects of REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

If you are allergic to REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION, please tell your doctor. Check with your doctor if you are taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed drugs. Increase the intake of fluids so that the mucus present loosens and the throat is remains lubricated. Some formulation of REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION is to be cautiously administered in diabetic patients since it may contain sucrose or glucose. You can try opting for sugar-free formulations. Do not take REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION if you are allergic or hypersensitive to Amylmetacresol and Benzyl alcohol or any ingredients of REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION. Consult your doctor before using REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION is not recommended for children below 3 years. REJUNURON PLUS INJECTION is for short term use only. Do not take it for more than 3-4 days.
