About Renophilus Capsule

Renophilus Capsule belongs to the class of probiotics used for uremic detoxification and to delay the progression of chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease is a condition that is characterised by gradual loss of kidney function over time. Kidneys filter excess fluid and waste from the blood. Due to kidney disease, the waste can build up to high levels in the blood, which could make you sick.

Renophilus Capsule is a combination of probiotics (live strains of bacteria that keeps the body healthy) and prebiotics (types of fibre that act as food for friendly bacteria) that help in neutralizing the uremic toxins such as creatinine, urea, etc, and reduces decomposing bacteria in the colon by lowering the pH of the urine. Renophilus Capsule also increases the toxin excretion by increasing the permeability of the colon. Thereby Renophilus Capsule helps in the detoxification of urine and delays the progression of chronic kidney disease. 

Take Renophilus Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Renophilus Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience fever, nausea, soft stools, bloating, flatulence (gas) or stomach cramps.   • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids to replace lost water and electrolytes. Choose water, clear broth, and electrolyte-rich drinks. Avoid carbonated or caffeinated beverages to effectively rehydrate your body.
  • Follow a Bland Diet: Eat easy-to-digest foods to help firm up your stool and settle your stomach. Try incorporating bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, plain crackers, and boiled vegetables into your diet.
  • Avoid Trigger Foods: Steer clear of foods that can worsen diarrhoea, such as spicy, fatty, or greasy foods, high-fibre foods, and dairy products (especially if you're lactose intolerant).
  • Practice Good Hygiene: Maintain good hygiene to prevent the spread of infection. To stay healthy, wash your hands frequently, clean and disinfect surfaces regularly, and avoid exchanging personal belongings with others.
  • Take Anti-Diarrheal Medications: If your doctor advises, anti-diarrheal medications such as loperamide might help manage diarrhoea symptoms. Always follow your doctor's directions.
