About RICHAR XT TABLET
RICHAR XT TABLET belongs to a class of medications called haematinics, primarily used to treat anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin). Iron deficiency occurs mainly due to a poor diet or poor dietary absorption.
RICHAR XT TABLET contains Elemental Iron and Folic acid. Elemental iron helps with the transportation of oxygen throughout the body and the production of red blood cells. Folic acid helps boost the production of red blood cells (RBCs) in the body. Together, RICHAR XT TABLET helps treat anaemia.
RICHAR XT TABLET may cause side effects like constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases. - RICHAR XT TABLET is generally given at least 4 weeks before pregnancy and continued for up to 3 months of pregnancy.
- Also, if giving RICHAR XT TABLET to a child, a child specialist's dose will be decided as an overdose of RICHAR XT TABLET in children can lead to deadly poisoning.
- If you have got any part of the stomach removed, please inform your doctor before taking RICHAR XT TABLET.
