Soleus Gel is primarily used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and stiffness, improving your ability to move and flex the joint.
Soleus Gel contains Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators, such as leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Soleus Gel helps provide relief from mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.
Do not apply external heat or cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Soleus Gel. Avoid wearing clothes or gloves for at least 10 minutes after applying Soleus Gel.
Avoid concomitant use of Soleus Gel with other topical products such as cosmetics, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers, insect repellent creams and other gels.
Soleus Gel should not be used on broken or open wounds, infections, or severely peeling skin.
Soleus Gel is for external use only. Shake well before each use. Spray the contents from a 5cm distance on the affected area. Avoid contact with eyes and nose; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Wash your hands before and after use, unless treating your hands.
Soleus Gel causes side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and a burning sensation. However, these will reduce over time. Please consult a doctor if the condition persists.
