Vincod Forte Tablet contains Elemental Calcium, Vitamin D3, Elemental Magnesium, and Elemental Zinc. Elemental Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Vitamin D3 aids in the absorption of calcium. Elemental Magnesium helps in the absorption of calcium by converting vitamin D into its active form. Elemental Zinc is necessary for bone-building cells and inhibits the formation of cells that cause the breakdown of bones. Together, Vincod Forte Tablet helps in strengthening bones.

Take Vincod Forte Tablet as advised by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience certain common sside effectssuch as stomach upset, constipation, muscle weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Directions for Use

Tablet: Take it with or without food as advised by the doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it.Granules: Take the granules directly by mouth or dissolve them in water as necessary. Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.

Storage

What if I have taken an overdose of Vincod Forte Tablet

Avoid exceeding the recommended dose as it might cause an overdose. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any unusual symptoms.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Vincod Forte Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high level of calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), nephrocalcinosis (excess calcium deposition in the kidneys), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D), severe renal impairment or renal failure. Consult your doctor before taking Vincod Forte Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Vincod Forte Tablet should be given to children only if advised by the doctor. Avoid consuming foods containing oxalic acid and phytic acid such as spinach, rhubarb, and whole-grain cereals as they might inhibit the absorption of calcium. Maintain a gap of two hours between Vincod Forte Tablet and foods containing oxalic acid or phytic acid.

Vincod Forte Tablet can be taken with levothyroxine if advised by the doctor. Calcium might lower the effectiveness of levothyroxine, therefore, maintain a gap of 4 hours between Vincod Forte Tablet and levothyroxine.

The common side effects of Vincod Forte Tablet include stomach upset, constipation, muscle weakness, nausea, and vomiting. If you experience these side effects persistently, please consult your doctor.
