Vircal M tablet is a nutritional supplement that nourishes the bones with essential vitamins and minerals that help in making the bones stronger and in maintaining bone metabolism, addressing magnesium deficiency and enhancing the absorption of calcium, thereby regulating the normal functioning of the skeletal system. It contains Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin B12, folic acid, Boron, Zinc, Vitamin K and Vitamin D. It is used in the treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, vitamin-D and magnesium deficiencies and hypocalcaemia. Vircal M also helps in regulating the normal functioning of nerve, muscle, bone, blood and skin cells.
Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have any kidney disease or any liver or heart problems, any stomach ulcers, any diseases causing chronic diarrhoea or malabsorption, or any other pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes or phenylketonuria. Keep your doctor informed of any history of alcoholism. Your doctor may prescribe a low phosphate diet if you suffer from kidney disease. Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breast-feeding before starting the medication. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
