About Virospray Mouth Spray
Virospray Mouth Spray is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat a sore throat. It also treats and prevents infections of the mouth and throat lining, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Virospray Mouth Spray is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction.
Virospray Mouth Spray contains Povidone iodine, which works by killing harmful microbes and reducing inflammation. It supports quicker healing, alleviates pain, and helps prevent further infection.
Virospray Mouth Spray may cause common side effects, such as mouth or throat irritation, dryness of the mouth and throat, and a burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve over time and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.
Please tell your doctor if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or treatment involving radioactive iodine. Do not use Virospray Mouth Spray before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma. Virospray Mouth Spray is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat sore throat. It also treats and prevents infections of the mouth and throat lining, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Virospray Mouth Spray is also used to cleanse the mouth and prepare the oral mucosa before any dental procedure, including injections, surgery, or tooth extractions.
Virospray Mouth Spray is an antiseptic and disinfectant that inhibits the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, Iodine in Virospray Mouth Spray can easily penetrate into microorganisms and oxidise essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death.
Virospray Mouth Spray is not recommended for use if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or treatment involving radioactive iodine. Virospray Mouth Spray should not be used before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma. In such conditions, please consult your doctor before using Virospray Mouth Spray.

Please inform your doctor before starting Virospray Mouth Spray if you have any history of thyroid problems. Virospray Mouth Spray can also yield false-positive lab results, such as tests using toluidine or guaiac, to detect haemoglobin or glucose in the stool or urine.
Virospray Mouth Spray is not meant for long-term usage or routine use. Do not use Virospray Mouth Spray for more than seven days unless instructed to do so by a doctor.
Virospray Mouth Spray is intended for treating sore throat and infections associated with the mouth and throat. Unlike other over-the-counter mouthwashes, it is not meant for use as a breath freshener.
