Vitatus-SB Tablet is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitatus-SB Tablet helps in the growth and development of cells, boosts the immune system, balances vitamin content and metabolism of minerals, and helps maintain a healthy central nervous system.

Vitatus-SB Tablet is a combination of Mecobalamin, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, and Folic acid. Mecobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain nerves and produces red blood cells. Pyridoxine helps boost metabolism and maintain healthy nerves and red blood cells. Folic acid is necessary for various bodily functions, such as the production of red blood cells.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as stomach upset, bloating, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Vitatus-SB Tablet belongs to the class of vitamins, primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency.
Vitatus-SB Tablet is a vitamin supplement and consists of Folic acid, Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, Vitatus-SB Tablet helps in normalising these deficient levels. Collectively, Vitatus-SB Tablet treats nutritional deficiencies.
Vitamin B6 deficiency occurs when your body lacks adequate Pyridoxine levels. You can overcome this deficiency by including food sources rich in Pyridoxine like milk, eggs, beef, pork, chicken or turkey, fish, peanuts, soya beans, wheat germ, oats and bananas. If your Vitamin B6 levels are still low, your doctor may prescribe its supplements.
Vitamin B12 deficiency is caused when you don't have enough Methylcobalamin or Mecobalamin levels in your body. You can include natural Vitamin B12 sources like eggs, beef, liver, chicken, trout, salmon, tuna fish, clams, fortified breakfast cereal, low-fat milk, yoghurt, and cheese in your diet for treating the deficiency. If you still have low levels of B12, please consult your doctor for its supplements.
Pyridoxine hydrochloride in Vitatus-SB Tablet may interfere with laboratory tests like urine test for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor knows that you take Vitatus-SB Tablet if you are undergoing any blood and urine examinations.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
The natural sources of folic acid are broccoli, brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, such as cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas and kidney beans, liver (avoid liver if you are pregnant), breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
Folic acid is especially important during early pregnancy, to prevent neural tube defects (NTDs), because folic acid aids in the development of the neural tube, which gives rise to the brain and spine of the developing fetus.
The signs of anaemia due to folic acid deficiency are fatigue, weakness, pale skin, shortness of breath, dizziness, depression, headaches, heart palpitations and mouth ulcers. If you experience any of these symptoms, please consult your doctor.
The common side effects of Vitatus-SB Tablet are stomach upset, nausea, diarrhoea, drowsiness, flushing and numbness or tingling. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
