About Zindee Chewable Tablet

Zindee Chewable Tablet is a vitamin supplement primarily used to treat vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency occurs when your body has low Vitamin D levels and is caused by inadequate nutrition, intestinal malabsorption, or lack of sunlight exposure. It effectively treats various conditions, including low calcium levels, osteoporosis (weak bones), latent tetany (a muscle disease characterized by low blood calcium levels), and rickets or osteomalacia (softening of bones due to low calcium levels).

Zindee Chewable Tablet contains Cholecalciferol, a form of vitamin D. It promotes the absorption of calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin A from different organs and helps maintain overall health.

Zindee Chewable Tablet is likely safe to consume. In rare cases, it may cause side effects such as constipation, increased blood calcium levels, elevated calcium levels in urine, vomiting, and nausea. These side effects typically do not require medical attention and usually resolve gradually over time. If these side effects persist, please consult your physician immediately.

Take Zindee Chewable Tablet as advised. Your physician will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. You can take Zindee Chewable Tablet with or without food. It is advised not to take more than the recommended dose of Zindee Chewable Tablet. Do not touch the medicine with wet hands.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Zindee Chewable Tablet. This medicine may contain sugar or aspartame. Hence, caution should be taken in diabetes and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine). Let your doctor know if you have any liver/kidney disease, heart disease, kidney stones and hypervitaminosis D (having too much vitamin D) or are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Zindee Chewable Tablet. Zindee Chewable Tablet is safe to use in children when recommended by the paediatrician.

What if I have taken an overdose of Zindee Chewable Tablet

Do not take more than the suggested dose of Zindee Chewable Tablet. Excess Vitamin D may raise your risk of hypercalcemia, a buildup of calcium in the blood that can lead to weakness, frequent urination, nausea, and vomiting. Toxic vitamin D levels may also lead to renal issues, including calcium stones and bone discomfort.

Drug Warnings

Hence, caution should be taken in diabetes and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine). Inform your doctor if you have any history of hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, kidney disease, liver disease, electrolyte imbalance, heart disease, kidney stones and hypervitaminosis D (having too much vitamin D) before taking Zindee Chewable Tablet.

Store Zindee Chewable Tablet at room temperature. You are advised not to touch the medicine with wet hands. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Do not take more than the recommended dose of medicine, as too much of vitamin D intake can lead to hypercalcemia (increased calcium levels in the body).
