ACETIC ACID+HYDROCORTISONE is indicated in the treatment of superficial infections of the external auditory canal caused by bacteria or fungus. ACETIC ACID+HYDROCORTISONE contains acetic acid and hydrocortisone. Acetic acid works by stopping the growth of fungi and bacteria. Hydrocortisone decreases swelling, itching, and redness occurring due to infection. Together, ACETIC ACID+HYDROCORTISONE helps treat ear infections.
In some cases, ACETIC ACID+HYDROCORTISONE may cause side effects such as temporary stinging or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
