Bacterial skin infection occurs when bacteria enter the body through broken skin. Fungal skin infection is a disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection.
BECLOMETHASONE+MICONAZOLE+NEOMYCIN contains Beclomethasone (steroid), Miconazole (anti-fungal), and Neomycin (antibiotic). Miconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering and stops fungal growth. Beclomethasone works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Neomycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis and kills bacteria. Together, BECLOMETHASONE+MICONAZOLE+NEOMYCIN helps in treating skin infections.
In some cases, BECLOMETHASONE+MICONAZOLE+NEOMYCIN may cause side effects such as a burning sensation, irritation, and itching at the site of application. Inform your doctor if you have/had acne, rosacea (small, red, pus-filled bumps on the face), perioral dermatitis (inflammation of the skin around the mouth), genital or perianal pruritus, herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella, kidney or liver disease.
