lamivudine and zidovudine is nucleosidase reverse transcriptase inhibitor, both medicines together decrease the amount of virus in your body by inhibiting HIV reverse transcription via viral DNA chain termination, whereas Niverapine is a non-nucleosidase reverse transcriptase inhibitor, works by lowering the amount of HIV in the blood. LAMIVUDINE+NEVIRAPINE+ZIDOVUDINE will not cure HIV infection or AIDS, however, it helps keep HIV from reproducing and appears to slow down the destruction of the immune system.
