Store Azulix 1 MF Tablet at room temperature, in a dry place. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Azulix 1 MF Tablet may cause lactic acidosis (builds up of lactic acid in the blood). Consult the doctor if you notice symptoms of lactic acidosis like abdominal pain, vomiting, muscle cramps, difficulty breathing, reduced body temperature and heartbeat, and severe tiredness.
Azulix 1 MF Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, also known as noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
Side effects of Azulix 1 MF Tablet are stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, headache or metallic taste. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Long-term use of Azulix 1 MF Tablet may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency. Regular monitoring of vitamin B12 levels is recommended.
You are recommended to avoid consumption of alcohol with Azulix 1 MF Tablet as it may increase the risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body).
Azulix 1 MF Tablet should be swallowed as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.
Regularly monitor blood glucose levels. Have your meals regularly and never miss a meal. Always carry a source of sugar and consume it if you experience low blood sugar. If you are due to undergo any tests or surgery, inform the doctor that you are taking Azulix 1 MF Tablet . Avoid drinking alcohol.
Other medicines should be taken with Azulix 1 MF Tablet only if prescribed by the doctor. To prevent any interactions it is advised to consult the doctor before taking other medicines during treatment with Azulix 1 MF Tablet .
