Ciplox-OZ Tablet is used to treat or prevent certain infections caused by bacteria and parasites (amoeba). It is prescribed for the treatment of diarrhoea. Additionally, it also treats vaginal and other bacterial infections. It contains Ciprofloxacin and Ornidazole, which kills bacteria and parasites (amoeba) and hence relieves the symptoms. It may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, dizziness, dry mouth, and metallic taste. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
