Prescription Medicine

Dolomed Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of muscle pain, arthritis pain, dysmenorrhea (painful periods or menstrual cramps), and dental pain and reduces fever. It contains Ibuprofen and Paracetamol, which work by blocking the effect of a chemical known as prostaglandin, responsible for inducing pain and inflammation in our body. It may cause side effects such as tightness of the chest, breathing difficulties, fever, skin rashes, increased heart rate and or in case of any signs of hypersensitivity. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding.

Side effects of Dolomed Tablet

Stomach Pain

Drink water or other clear fluids.
To prevent worsening of pain, limit intake of tea, coffee, or alcohol.
Include bland foods like rice, toast, crackers, and rice in your diet.
Avoid lying down immediately after eating as it may cause indigestion or heartburn.
Avoid acidic and spicy food as it may cause indigestion.

Feeling Sick

Drink fluids: Water, clear broth, or electrolyte-rich beverages.
Follow a balanced diet, which would be rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
Mindfulness: Manage stress with meditation, deep breathing or yoga.
