Monurol Sachet 3 gm is used to treat or prevent bladder infections. It contains Fosfomycin, which decreases the attachment of bacteria to cells lining the urinary bladder, thereby preventing bladder infection. In some cases, you may experience side effects such as dizziness, headache, indigestion, and vulvovaginitis (swelling or infection of the vulva and vagina). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Avoid receiving cholera vaccine, live until at least 14 days after you complete your antibiotic therapy to ensure adequate vaccine response.
