Rinosec Syrup is used as a nasal decongestant and anti-allergic in paediatric patients. It provides relief from symptoms of a cold, such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching of nose and throat, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion, and nasal passage swelling. It contains Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine relieves allergy/cold symptoms. Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion. Together, Rinosec Syrup provides relief from cold. In some cases, this medication may cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
