Wokderm + Cream

Wokderm + Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused by bacterial or fungal skin infections. Wokderm + Cream effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections. 

Wokderm + Cream is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Clobetasol blocks prostaglandin production (chemical messengers) that cause symptoms of skin infections. Miconazole causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Neomycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Wokderm + Cream may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are mild and temporary. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Wokderm + Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Wokderm + Cream, inform your doctor if you have any viral infections, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, adrenal gland problems, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin) or liver diseases. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Wokderm + Cream is used in the treatment of bacterial skin infections and fungal skin infections. The detailed uses of Wokderm + Cream are as follows:

• Treatment of Fungal Infections: Wokderm + Cream is commonly used to treat a range of fungal skin infections, including athlete's foot, ringworm, and jock itch, by inhibiting fungal growth.
• Relief from Itching and Inflammation: Wokderm + Cream offers relief from itching and inflammation associated with conditions like eczema and dermatitis. The corticosteroid ingredient helps reduce swelling and soothes the affected areas.
• Management of Bacterial Infections: Wokderm + Cream is also effective in treating bacterial skin infections, particularly secondary infections that occur alongside other conditions like wounds or dermatitis.
• Psoriasis Management: In certain cases, Wokderm + Cream is recommended for localised psoriasis, helping to reduce scaling, inflammation, and irritation.

• Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dosage and timing for optimal results. 
• Gently rinse the affected area with saline or water before applying Wokderm + Cream. Pat the skin and dry it with a clean cotton towel. Apply a generous amount of Wokderm + Cream and spread it evenly on the skin's affected areas to form a 1/8-inch thick layer with clean and dry hands. You can also apply Wokderm + Cream with a clean cotton wool or gauze swab. 
• Wash your hands before and after using Wokderm + Cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.

• Wokderm + Cream is a combination of three drugs: Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin which can effectively treat skin infections.
• Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling.
• Miconazole is an antifungal that works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi.
• Neomycin is an antibiotic that inhibits the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers.

• Avoid using Wokderm + Cream if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
• Wokderm + Cream is not recommended for use on larger areas of skin.
• Do not use it for prolonged periods unless prescribed by your doctor.
• It would be best if you did not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster, especially the face, without checking with your doctor.
• Do not use the medicine in and around your eyes. If the medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or genitals, rinse with water thoroughly.
• If you notice any persistent skin irritation or worsening of the skin disease, stop using Wokderm + Cream, and inform your doctor immediately.
• Do not use if there is an infection or sore present in the area to be treated.
