Cosvate-GM ++ Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused due to bacterial or fungal skin infections. It effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections. It blocks prostaglandin production (chemical messengers) that cause symptoms of skin infections such as redness, swelling and itching. It damages fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. It also stops the growth of bacteria. It may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

About Cosvate-GM ++ Cream

Cosvate-GM ++ Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused by bacterial or fungal skin infections. Cosvate-GM ++ Cream effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections.

Cosvate-GM ++ Cream is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Clobetasol blocks prostaglandin production (chemical messengers) that cause symptoms of skin infections. Miconazole causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Neomycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Cosvate-GM ++ Cream may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are mild and temporary. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Cosvate-GM ++ Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Cosvate-GM ++ Cream, inform your doctor if you have any viral infections, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, adrenal gland problems, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin) or liver diseases. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Directions for Use

Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dosage and timing for optimal results.
Gently rinse the affected area with saline or water before applying Cosvate-GM ++ Cream. Pat the skin and dry it with a clean cotton towel. Apply a generous amount of Cosvate-GM ++ Cream and spread it evenly on the skin's affected areas to form a 1/8-inch thick layer with clean and dry hands. You can also apply Cosvate-GM ++ Cream with a clean cotton wool or gauze swab.
Wash your hands before and after using Cosvate-GM ++ Cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. • Keep out of sight and reach of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

What if I have taken an overdose of Cosvate-GM ++ Cream

Do not apply Cosvate-GM ++ Cream in large amounts or use it for a long time than recommended, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects.

Drug Warnings

Avoid using Cosvate-GM ++ Cream if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
Cosvate-GM ++ Cream is not recommended for use on larger areas of skin.
Do not use it for prolonged periods unless prescribed by your doctor.
It would be best if you did not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster, especially the face, without checking with your doctor.
Do not use the medicine in and around your eyes. If the medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or genitals, rinse with water thoroughly.
If you notice any persistent skin irritation or worsening of the skin disease, stop using Cosvate-GM ++ Cream, and inform your doctor immediately.
Do not use if there is an infection or sore present in the area to be treated.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.
Avoid harsh products on your skin.
Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid getting the affected area infected.
Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
Limit food intake that might trigger allergies such as dairy products, soy, eggs and nuts.
Avoid consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare-up inflammation.
Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats and fish in your diet.
Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents and rough fabrics.
