Directions for Use

Follow these steps for a safe and effective scalp massage:

  1. Pour a small amount (about 1–2 teaspoons) of the hair oil into the palm of your clean hands.
  2. . Rub your palms together briefly to warm the oil. This improves absorption and makes the experience more soothing for the baby.
  3. . Gently apply the oil to your baby’s scalp.
  4. Use the pads of your fingers to massage the scalp using light, circular motions. Avoid pressing on the fontanelle (the soft spots on the baby's head).
  5. Leave the oil on for at least 30 minutes before a bath, or leave it overnight for deeper conditioning. Wash off with a mild, tear-free baby shampoo.
  6. Frequency: Can be used daily or 2–3 times a week before bath time.

 

Pro Tip: For babies with extremely dry scalps, apply the oil immediately after bath time while the hair is slightly damp to lock in maximum moisture.

Safety Information

  • Do not ingest. Avoid direct contact with the baby’s eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with cool water.
  • Before first use, apply a single drop of oil behind the baby's ear or on the inner elbow. Wait 24 hours to check for any redness or allergic reaction.
  • Do not apply on broken skin, open wounds, or active infections on the scalp.
  • While this oil moisturises dry scalps, severe cases of seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap) should be evaluated by a paediatrician before using any topical oils.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the natural herbal extracts. Keep the cap tightly closed.
  • Keep out of reach of children. To prevent accidental ingestion or spillage.
