It may also be used as a pre-treatment for nasal steroid administration. It contains Sodium chloride that moisturises the nose and helps loosen, soften, and dissolve crusty or thick mucus. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as cough, sneezing, abnormal taste, and stinging sensation in the nose. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.
