It contains Loteprednol, which works by inhibiting the release of certain natural substances that cause swelling, itching, and pain. In some cases, you may experience side effects such as watery eyes, irritation in the eyes, and eye itching. If you wear contact lenses or are wearing them, remove them before using this medicine, and you can put them back 15 minutes after using this.

  • Consult an eye doctor for a comprehensive examination to determine your vision and any underlying eye disorders.
  • In the case of a corneal abrasion, your doctor might prescribe eye drops or ointment to prevent infection.
  • Apply a cold, damp cloth to the eye gently to ease the pain and swelling.
  • Do not rub your eye to avoid further damage.
  • Wear protective eyewear, goggles or sunglasses to prevent further harm.
  • Inform your doctor in case you start experiencing eye pains, blurred visions, or photosensitivity.
  • Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet full of vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids to help maintain eye health.
  • Wear UV-protecting sunglasses when you are outside or in bright light.
  • Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes it may increase irritation.
  • Seek medical care if you are experiencing extreme eye pain or discomfort.
  • Eat vitamin A-rich foods like fish liver, chicken, eggs, carrots, lemons, and mangoes in your diet.
  • Eat green leafy vegetables, meat, and dairy products, and increase the consumption of omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon and walnuts.
  • Examine your eyes regularly to detect any underlying issues.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
  • Eat a well-balanced diet that includes more vegetables, fruits, fish, whole grains, nuts, legumes, and olive oil, and less dairy, meat, and saturated fats.
  • Apply warm compresses to the affected eye to help loosen blockages.
  • Gently massage the eyelids to promote tear drainage.
  • Avoid rubbing the eyes, as this can exacerbate the condition.
  • Use artificial tears to help lubricate the eyes.
  • Keep the eyes clean and free of irritants.
  • Avoid exposure to wind, dust, and other environmental irritants.
  • Consider using humidifiers to add moisture to the air and reduce tear evaporation.
