Nepro HP (High Protein) with Kidney Care is a complete renal nutrition high in calories and protein scientifically designed to meet the nutrient needs of dialysis patients. It helps replace the proteins lost during the dialysis process. This supplement can be taken as a nutritious snack, supplement or as the sole source of nutrition. Directions for Use

  • To prepare a 237 ml serving providing 446 calories, pour 167 ml of clean, sterile water (room temperature or warm (<35°C (95°F)) in a glass and gradually add 10 level scoops (enclosed) or 89 grams of powder while stirring and mix until dissolved. 
  • Once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Discard unused feed after this time.

Using NEPRO HP: 

  • For oral use, it may be used for total (4-5 servings per day) or supplemental (1-2 servings per day) nutrition and fed chilled or at room temperature. If desired, Nepro HP can be heated, but do not boil or heat in a microwave oven. 
  • For tube feeding, Nepro HP may be delivered by gravity or by a pump. The flow rate and volume depend on the patient's condition and tolerance.
  • Administer Nepro HP with a pump at room temperature with an 8 Fr or larger tube. Additional fluid requirements can be met by giving supplemental water.
  • Care should be taken to avoid contamination of Nepro HP powder during preparation and administration.
