Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is a combination of two drugs, Sodium bicarbonate and Sodium chloride, which belong to a group of medicines called 'nasal decongestants' used to treat sinonasal disease. Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet both are sodium salts. Both of the salts work together to provide moisture in the nasal cavity so that the thick mucus softens. This, in turn, helps to clear out the mucus from the nose and relieves the nasal (nose) blockage. This is how it helps with easy breathing and treats dryness of the nose by providing enough moisture. Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is also used to treat post-operative sinus surgery.

• Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is typically used every 2 hours as needed. However, follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Check the label for directions before use.
• Empty the contents into the squeeze bottle and add lukewarm water. Close the cap and shake the bottle gently until the powder dissolves and forms a solution.
• Tilt your head to the side, insert the container tip into the nostril, and gently squeeze to release the solution. Gently blow your nose after rinsing to remove mucus and any leftover solution.
• Avoid touching the container tip to the inside of your nose to prevent contamination.

• Use a clean humidifier to keep the air moist in your home.
• Get plenty of rest if you have a cold to reduce your risk for complications, like sinusitis.
• Bathe your nasal passages daily.
• Drink lots of water. 
• Inhale steam.
• Avoid dry environments. 
• Sleep with your head elevated. 
• Avoid dairy if you have had previous episodes of sinus infections.
• Also, try to avoid refined sugar as it is pro-inflammatory and increases the production of mucus.
• Other foods to avoid include tomatoes (which contain histamines), chocolate, cheese, gluten, and fruits like bananas, which can cause congestion.

Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is not recommended for diarrhoea, kidney diseases, or heart diseases. Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet should be used with extreme caution in children's safety, and effectiveness in children has not been confirmed. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet while you are pregnant. It is not known if Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breastfeeding while you use Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet  check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby. Netiwash Nasal Rinse Sachet is also used with caution in pregnancy-associated hypertension. Do not touch the tip of the container, as it may get contaminated.
