Anafortan N Tablet is used to treat abdominal cramps or pain associated with various gastrointestinal conditions such as intestinal colic (blockage in the intestine), gallstones, kidney stones, and menstrual cramps. It contains Nimesulide and Camylofin which work by reducing the production of chemical substances that cause pain and inflammation and preventing sudden muscle contractions. This medicine may sometimes cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, diarrhoea, dizziness, and headache. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.

I am 3 months pregnant and have had continuous stomach pain for the past 10 days despite taking prescribed medicines, including progesterone and supplements. Anafortan and Duadilan have not relieved the pain. What should I do now? Could this be a serious problem?

I am experiencing pain in the uterine area that worsens after urination. Is Anafortan safe to take for this pain? Also, can I take Norflox 400 mg twice daily in this situation?

Pain in the uterine area that worsens after urination could be due to a urinary tract infection or another gynaecological issue. Anafortan is generally safe for relieving pain, but it won't treat infections. Norflox 400 mg is an antibiotic and should only be taken if a bacterial infection is confirmed by a doctor. It is best to consult your doctor first to identify the cause of the pain and get the correct treatment rather than starting antibiotics on your own.

I am suffering from pain on the right side of my abdomen. I consulted a doctor who prescribed Rantac-D, Cefixime 200 mg, and Anafortan, but I have not experienced any relief. My ultrasound report was normal. What should I do next?
