Drug-Drug Interactions:
Other Blood Thinners (e.g., Warfarin, Heparin): Taking these medicines together with Azuvas 20-Gold Capsule can significantly increase the risk of bleeding, including serious internal bleeding. Close medical supervision and regular monitoring may be required.
Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs, e.g., Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Naproxen): Using NSAIDs along with this combination may increase the risk of stomach irritation, ulcers, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Avoid taking NSAIDs unless advised by your doctor.
Cyclosporine: Taking this medicine together with cyclosporine is generally contraindicated because cyclosporine markedly increases rosuvastatin blood levels by inhibiting OATP1B1 and BCRP transporters. This substantially increases the risk of muscle toxicity, including myopathy and rhabdomyolysis.
Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs, e.g., Omeprazole): Omeprazole and some other PPIs may reduce the effectiveness of clopidogrel by decreasing its activation in the body, potentially reducing its blood-thinning effect. If stomach protection is needed, your doctor may recommend a PPI with less interaction potential, such as pantoprazole.
Drug-Food Interactions:
Alcohol: Regular or heavy alcohol consumption increases the risk of stomach irritation and severe bleeding while taking this medicine.
