Betnovate C Cream is used to treat skin conditions like eczema (itchy, inflamed skin), psoriasis (red, itchy, scaly patch on skin), insect bites and other types of rash. It is used for fungal and bacterial infections of the skin. It contains Betamethasone and Clioquinol, which work by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of fungi and bacteria. Also, it works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching and swelling. It helps to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused by specific skin problems. Some people may experience side effects such as itching, irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
