I have Jockitch and i am?presently using Clobenate-Gm Cream, Quadriderm Cream, and Terbina Force Tab. The issue persists for two to three weeks and is not being resolved at the source.

Persistent Tinea cruris (jock itch) often doesn?t heal if strong steroid-mixed creams like Clobenate-GM and Quadriderm are used, as they can worsen the infection. It?s better to stop these and continue a proper antifungal like Terbinafine along with a topical antifungals. Keep the area dry, wear loose cotton clothes, and avoid sweating or reusing unwashed clothes. If it still doesn?t improve, consult a doctor for stronger antifungal treatment and to rule out resistant infection.

I'm experiencing severe discomfort and itching around my anus. I took the CLOBENATE ointment as directed by the doctor, but it didn't help. Could you recommend me for the same?

Severe itching around the anus is often due to fungal infection, irritation, or piles, and using strong steroid creams like Clobenate can sometimes worsen the problem if used for a long time. It?s better to keep the area clean and dry, avoid tight clothes and spicy foods, and switch to a mild antifungal cream. If symptoms continue or there is pain, bleeding, or swelling, consult a doctor to rule out conditions like Hemorrhoids or worm infection.

I've had itching in my thighs for a long time. I use neo clobenate gm, so it goes away as soon as I take it, but after two to three days, it starts to itch again and has turned dark. Could you please advise what I should do? I'm grateful. Please advise which ointment is best to use.

Your problem is most likely a fungal infection (tinea) that keeps coming back because of steroid use. The cream you are using, Neo Clobenate GM, gives temporary relief but actually worsens and hides the infection, leading to recurrence and darkening of skin. Keep the area dry, wear loose cotton clothes, avoid sweating, and do not scratch. Consult a dermatologist for proper course and complete cure.
