  • Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs): Do not take Clofranil 50 Tablet if you are currently taking, or have taken within the last 14 days, an MAOI. Doing so can cause a life-threatening reaction marked by high blood pressure, severe muscle stiffness, and extremely high body temperature.
